AcademicsAccreditation St. Joseph Catholic School is accredited with merit from the Northwest Association of Schools & Colleges and the Western Catholic Education Association. The 2005-06 school year is our self-study year for accreditation. Every 6 years we are accredited through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Western Catholic Educational Association. Before we are accredited, we go through a yearlong process appropriately called the Self Study. We, the St. Joseph community, will take a step back, look at what we do, identify our strengths and challenges, and then create a plan of action to make our school even better than it already is. We look forward to this process and thank you for your continued support during this year of reflection. Accreditation Update All schools in the Archdiocese of Seattle participate in an Accreditation process through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NAAS) and the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA). In February 2007, the Accreditation Team spent three days at St. Joseph Catholic School. During this time, they observed classrooms and spoke with students, teachers, parents, and parishioners. They wrote a response document called the Visiting Team Report. The report is available for viewing here by using the link(s) below.
