In support of our school mission to develop the social growth of every student, we will learn about the following nine virtues throughout the school year: forgiveness, compassion, cooperation, honesty, integrity, kindness, perseverance, respect, and responsibility. Teachers will explore virtues through lessons and stories each month. Discussion on the virtue and how to live out that virtue is promoted schoolwide across all subjects.
January's Virtue is Responsibility
December’s virtue was Perseverance:
Perseverance is the ability to persist and continue working towards a goal despite facing challenges, obstacles, or setbacks. It involves determination, resilience, and a willingness to keep trying and learning even when things get challenging. In children, perseverance is a crucial skill that helps them succeed academically, socially, and in various life aspects.
