In support of our school mission to develop the social growth of every student, we will learn about these nine virtues throughout the school year: forgiveness, compassion, cooperation, honesty, integrity, kindness, perseverance, respect, and responsibility.
Students learn about our virtues through classroom lessons, class meetings and activities. Discussion on the virtue and how to live out that virtue is promoted schoolwide across all subjects. Morning announcements also include challenges and examples of our virtues. |

October’s virtue is Kindness:
Kindness is simply being friendly, generous, and considerate toward others. In their October Prayer Service, 7th grade brought our monthly virtue into focus. Kindness doesn’t have to be big or fancy. It can be as simple as holding the door, giving someone a compliment, or helping a classmate who is having a rough day. Every small act makes our school a more positive place. Challenge for this month: Each day, do one kind thing for someone without being asked. It could be for a friend, a teacher, or even someone you don’t usually talk to. Remember - kindness is contagious. One small act can start a chain reaction, so let’s all choose kindness! Learn more ways to spread KINDNESS |
