St. Joseph Catholic School, like other Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Seattle, has an active School Commission. The Commission is established by the pastor to assist both the pastor and principal in policy development and long-range planning for the school. The School Commission assists with the school mission, strategic planning, policy making, financial advice, public relations, evaluating the effectiveness of the School Commission, and assisting with the selection of the school principal.
Our School Commission is made up of school supporters—both parents and parishioners—who work together to advise the pastor and principal.
